Employee Personal Page/ Employee Self-Service (EPP/ESS)

NFC recognized the opportunity to offer employees an expanded level of service by providing Web-based, self-service access to their personal information via the EPP/ESS. The Employee self-service feature of the EPP places more control in the employees' hands, allowing them added flexibility to submit changes to their payroll information online without going through their personnel office. Employees can submit changes for the following:

  • Residence Address
  • Federal and State Tax Withholding
  • Financial Allotments
  • Thrift Savings Plan Contribution Amounts
  • Direct Deposit

Employees benefit most from EPP/ESS by having: (1) advance access to data that would normally be received on the hardcopy Statement of Earnings and Leave (SEL), Personal Benefits Statement, and W-2; (2) additional tax preparation options with the TurboTax import feature from EPP/ESS; (3) access to enter many of their own payroll-related change transactions; and (4) helpful links to many valuable informational sites regarding Government benefits. With your employees viewing and updating their own data through EPP/ESS, you will be able to dedicate your HR support staffs to other mission-related activities.
